This room is dedicatedly built just for this purpose equipped with quality tools and incredible piano to support your practice session in a great soundproof room with acoustic treatment at affordable price for you.

Piano, Voice/Singing, Saxophone, and Acoustic String Instruments such as Guitar, Shamisen etc. If you are not sure whether your instrument is applicable for this room or not, please feel free to check with us.

 

How many people can this room accommodate?

1-2 people as our studio focuses and specializes in individual practice and small groups. Number of people depends on what kind of instrument that will be used.

 

Does the room provide everything for my piano and music practice?

Yes, all the necessary practice tools with great quality are provided for your piano and music practice session. Metronome, tuner, and mirror are all included in the room.

 

What are the features and what make this room unique?

We use the highest grade of YAMAHA AVITECS soundproof room which provides great soundproofing and acoustic treatment controlling the reverberation inside the room to ensure the natural and rich sound of how musical instruments resonate and other applications.

Apart from that, we know not only the great quality of sound that we are looking for in equipment, but also the user experience and optimization. That’s why we put a lot of thoughts and hand-picked each of the tools and equipment to ensure that they can meet specific needs for various kinds of instrument applications and different types of players with huge result. Everything should maximize your practice session.

With YAMAHA Clavinova CLP 745, it is an excellent digital upright piano which gives you a stunningly realistic playing feel and sound of the concert grand pianos, Yamaha CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial grand pianos tuned to perfection. It delivers an unbelievable acoustic grand piano experience with the 88 keys that are weighted differently where the strings of higher notes are shorter and thinner with less weighted while the lower strings are longer and thicker with more weighted which reproduce the authentic touch, feel, and wide dynamic range of an actual concert grand piano.

 

Plus, it contains other many instrument sounds and samples for you to choose from organ to string instruments. Some of our favorite sounds are the fortepianos which were made in the era of classical composers such as Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin where we can be able to hear just as the original composers did when they used the fortepianos to compose those classical music masterpieces during that era. Other features like rhythm tracks and patterns for practicing along, classical music masterpieces to practice and master your piano skills, and Bluetooth function to pair with your smart device to hear and play your exercises and favorite songs through the piano speakers to jam and play with.

Metronome in this room is a mechanical metronome which gives both visual and auditive information while practicing your rhythm.

Tuner in this room comes with the clip-on mic which can be used for almost all types of instruments. It also has metronome section and can use with the tuner section simultaneously which is great for wind and brass instruments for orchestral practice.

Mirror is for checking your playing gesture and for practicing stage presence.

 

Some Examples of equipment use in Room03:

Case A – Uses the piano for her practice and pairs her phone with the piano via Bluetooth to practice along with her backing track exercises and songs from her phone.

Case B - Brings in his saxophone to practice and uses the piano’s rhythm tracks to accompany his saxophone practice.

Case C – Practices his vocal exercises by using all 88 keys of the piano for his vocal range reference.

Case D – Uses the piano and sings along for rehearsing his coming performance at school.

Lighting in the room can be adjusted according to your mood from dim light to white light. Try it and you will experience a different atmosphere and vibe. Turn it off with only candles and floor light on, it will take you into another dimension.

 

All equipment in this room can support various styles of practicing and playing scenarios for many instrument players. Whether if you just want to practice in the usual way only you and your acoustic instrument or use all equipment and functions that the room provides, either way, it will inspire you to practice and play more.

 

What do I need to bring or prepare?

We have already provided and prepared for you. You don’t need to bring anything except your own beloved instrument if you want to practice it with the provided piano or use our instrument storage service or our equipment rental service and come empty-handed.

 

Do you have other options of equipment to choose besides the provided ones?

Sure, you can check out our equipment rental service for more options of equipment to add on or change the provided ones in the room to the ones you prefer in the rental list.

 

Can I record or live stream inside the room?

Yes, you can bring your own recording device. We also have our YAMAHA AG06 MK2 Mixer for you to rent and support your piano and singing recording or live streaming with your laptop/smart device. We also provide cables for you if needed, but you may need to bring your own type of adapters that is compatible with your device or check with us first. You can also check out Room 01 where it already provides recording and streaming equipment in the room such as audio interface, condenser mic, headphones, and monitor speakers.

 

However, please note that there might be some sound leakage from other rooms. You can check and schedule your self-recording/live streaming session with us so we can put your booking in least busy hours. We recommend that if you are looking to record professionally, please consider using our recording service.

 

Can I use this room for my music lesson?

Yes, whether you are a music teacher or student you can use this room for your lesson. But the room might be a little small for some types of music instrument lesson, if that’s the case, we recommend you using our Room 04 for bigger space. More than that, if you are a student or music teacher who wants to hold music lesson, we offer you 20% Discount.
